I really appreciate how you have expressed your views in this article, Graeme. Having read your article in question and having also received criticism (on another networking site) on the first article that I had published on Medium, I can relate to much of what you have mentioned here.

I felt quite discouraged when I read the feedback from readers who had misconstrued the message I had meant to send across, but it inspires me to know that you are viewing your experience in a positive light. Communication is a tricky subject, and like you have mentioned, I need to work on understanding my readers’ perspectives, as well.
